Thanks for those tips. You're right about the 33_1 issue and that zoom
(Cntrl-W twice) works just fine. I also ran "make install" and that
fixed the ffmpeg problem. I just didn't look close enough at that output
for the ffmpeg version. I'm sure I'm going to have more issues (like
full-screen on the flash player, automatic log-on to the wireless
network, random mythbackend connection error messages), but most of
those just slow up the booting process and merely inconvenient problems
but not functional problems. The full-screen flash-player I want to
trouble-shoot a bit more and give you-all output to help isolate the
problem.
