Mythtv lacks polish, and IR remotes and the UI is a couple of those
areas.  A year ago, it was a major hassle to get the remotes to work,
only to find the same button had two different behaviors depending upon
which plugin was active.

If you check out the mythbuntu setup under infrared devices, it
supports a wide array of receivers.

The Windows MCE remote and the Pinnacle pro remote are just a click away.
Don't forget to generate default key mappings (Yay!)
