IIRC, when I helped my dad find a way to hook up his Razr (don't
remember what version) to his Ubuntu laptop, the package I found was
called "moto4lin".

That was back in Edgy or Feisty days, so *hopefully* you'll have an
easier time of it now than we did. ;-)

(Not that it was particularly hard, just that it wasn't particularly
intuitive at least for us; it took a well written HOWTO to finally
light the bulb for us.)
