Sounds like you guys had a fun meeting... I am looking forward to
getting http://books.slashdot.org/story/10/02/04/1538251/The-Art-of-Scalability
for some light reading... jk...

I recently had a discussion with some of my peers in Chile about Macro
Economics and the comparison with Scale in Technology. Beer would
have helped this discussion but sadly Mad Anthony's brews are not
marketed in Latin or South America...

For those dedicated super nerds... Here are some fun projects I am
working with.

openQRM - http://openqrm.com/
* This is Data Center Management software that just happens to support
all the wonderful virtualization systems you know and love...

eBox-Platform - http://www.ebox-platform.com/ (Great New )
* To maintain you status as a nerd and true LUG member I expect you
have eBox installed and working in your home or your office, or both
with a trunked VPN...

Mediawiki - http://www.mediawiki.org/
* You may be surprised to know that you can automate the
administration of a enterprise network from a Wiki.
* I am using ciscocmd (by Alain Degreffe) and MVS (aptitude install
mvs) to store configurations of Cisco devices on a versioned Wiki page
* You can use wget with the Mediawiki raw output GET request to echo
configurations directly into files on Linux servers.
* Nagios and Mediawiki can also work together to monitor your network
while documenting it at the same time.
** Yes you can also have those snazy graphics if you want with the
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:NagVis extension.

Asterisk - http://asterisk.org
* Working with my new peers to clean and enable inference in a dialplan and LCR.
* Developing new simple methods of security for an ITSP

IPTABLES
* If you want to disable IPv6 on your Linux server, be lazy...
** ip6tables -P INPUT DROP
** ip6tables -P OUTPUT DROP
** ip6tables -P FORWARD DROP

And last but not least....

With or without knowledge of Spanish....

Is a cute picture of what we all love to do, meet and talk about Linux
and or Beer...
