I recommend Linode (http://www.linode.com/). They easily have the best prices for VPS setups. You pick your base distro, and install/configure packages as you need them from there. I recently switched to them after being with Slicehost for 3 years and everything has been great so far.
Slicehost (http://www.slicehost.com/) is another outstanding option. I only switched to Linode for the better prices. -Matt On Sat, Apr 9, 2011 at 2:07 PM, Travis Paul <[email protected]> wrote: > Just wondering if anyone can recommend a linux shared hosting provider that > can meet the following needs: > > - mysql 5+ > - php 5.3+ > - ssh > - vim > - git > - ability to set ftp timeout > > That's really about all I need.
