I recommend Linode (http://www.linode.com/). They easily have the best
prices for VPS setups. You pick your base distro, and install/configure
packages as you need them from there. I recently switched to them after
being with Slicehost for 3 years and everything has been great so far.

Slicehost (http://www.slicehost.com/) is another outstanding option. I only
switched to Linode for the better prices.
