LUG,

We will be having our monthly meeting this Thursday, May 19th, 7 pm.
As usual, the place is Canterbury High School, 3210 Smith Road, Fort
Wayne. If you are new, look for white signs on the door to point you
toward the computer lab.

This month we will hear from Vidtonic, a local company that sells
Android-based TV-kits. Their webpage is:
http://www.vidtonic.com/

They describe themselves like this:
We are video and technology geeks and enthusiasts.
We believe in open-source, and open platforms.
Our goal is to take open platforms, such as Google's Androidâ„¢ OS, and
create television and video platforms that allow our users to create.
Build your own TV.
Compile your own OS.
Build your own Apps.
We don't control you. We don't restrict you.
You are unleashed.
Order parts from us, build your TV, and make something cool.

It looks to be an interesting group! Come out and discover what an
open-source TV might mean.

Cheers,

--Christer
