Most of the products advertising the ability to transfer VHS to DVD seem really to just be USB video-capture devices bundled with some Windows software.
Does anybody know if any of these sorts of things work well in Linux? I can imagine either that they're totally proprietary and only work with their own software, or that it's super easy to work with—like just cating the device into a file. Any experiences?
