I'll have to look at installing the meego ui. Not sure as of right now. I installed it on a netbook and wasn't very impressed with it. It's so simple that it actually detracts from a good computer experience.
As for missing anything from Arch, not really. There is a small sense over being overwhelmed. I am so used to the administering my Daemons through the rc.conf file that these runlevels and chkconfig administration seem mildly daunting. Being an Archer, it was easy messing with all of that:) Aside from that, one of the biggest benefits is not having to mess with AUR so much as RPM packages are abundant for most software packages you may be interested in.
