Let me add my voice to Carol's. The Ohio LinuxFest is an awesome time, and educational, for one and all. You'll be surrounded by a wide variety of fellow Linux-users. Talks will be going on all day Saturday, and there will be booths with companies and community projects advocating their stuff and giving out swag. Friday and Saturday nights usually feature sponsored pre and after parties, which are an awesome chance to have fun and chat (and often there have been free drinks). Traditionally many of the FWLUG regulars go out every year. Vern Ceder will even be teaching at Friday's Ohio LinuxFest Institute (OLFI, renamed this year from Ohio LinuxFest University...I wonder why they didn't like OLFU...) Come on out and get a feeling for what the Free and Open Source community is all about! Simón P.S. The Enthusiast registration is absolutely free. The Supporter registration costs $65 *but* has usually come with lunch on Saturday, some free drink tickets for the after-party, a cool event T-shirt, and a rockin' backstage pass. That, and the fuzzy feeling of helping the event happen, makes the Supporter pass totally worthwhile if you've got the $65 to spend. _______________________________________________ Fwlug mailing list [email protected] http://mail.fortwaynelug.org/mailman/listinfo/fwlug_fortwaynelug.org This is a public list and all posts are archived publicly.
