As one of the "founding fathers" (god that makes me sound old), I would be honored should there be some sort of coordination.
Vern and I had a long discussion before we both moved away about our needs of the LUG compared to the needs of Vern and me. What we concluded is that we needed new blood to come in, because we no longer knew what people wanted to really see as far as presentations. And heck even if the FWLUG rolled itself into the IVYLug that would not be a bad thing altogether.
