Thanks, everyone...  I reseated all the memory and cleared cmos..no effect
... Amount of memory was reported to be something over 5Gig; before was
over 6 Gig... 6pieces of 1Gig sticks in the machine.

Will pull out all but one stick and try each one.  Will also unplug all IDE
and SATA devices.
