A true pedant knows how to use quotation marks (or inverted 
commas, if you prefer, though a true pedant should notice that 
only one is inverted) and thus can tell the difference between 
printing the middle line and printing "the middle line".

And watch out with your use.perl.org journal entries!  I don't 
know what to do with that hole now.  I probably wouldn't have 
discovered that on my own, but now I'll never know.
