As a golf lover, I would like a separate perl golf list simply to acknowledge its eminence. Agreed. I also love playing Bridge. In the 1930s, Bridge might have been part of a "fun with cards" list, but, as its stature grew, it would have warranted its own separate list. (BTW, it has just made it into the Winter Olympics as a sport, after 70 years). I doubt that any other card game would warrant this. I therefore expect Perl Golf to make the Winter Olympics of 2070. I will be long dead, but I hope my grandson can compete strongly in that event against Eugene van der Pijll the third. /-\ndrew
