Hello,

   I have been following this mailing list for some time.  I notice 
there are a lot of people here that are vary knowledgable  in perl so I 
have a little question to ask.
when running `ld -lperl` I end up with an error cannot find -lperl any 
ideas why I might be getting this.  I am runnning debian woody 3.0.
