Hi Vega, I'm quite certain that wss4j can be successfully used to where there's a need for the security features defined by WS-Security 1.0 specification. WS-Security specification uses the XML Signature and XML Encryption. WSS4J comes with support for Apache Axis 1.x and the core components are designed to be independent of the SOAP processing environment, so you can develop your own extensions to your specific SOAP processing environment. Pls. go ahead and try it out and let us know your experience with wss4j.
About .NET interoperability ... as you can see here - http://wiki.apache.org/ws/FrontPage/WsFx/matrix2 wss4j successfully interoped with MSFT .NET and a lot more. :-) Pls feel free to fire any questions to the WSS4J mailing list at [email protected] (http://ws.apache.org/ws-fx/wss4j/mail-lists.html) Best regards, Ruchith On 6/1/05, Milton Fidel Vega Vega <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Hi Fernando > > I wanted to know if at the moment wss4j can be used in production web > services that support xml encryption, digital signature and .net interop. with > .NET > > thanks > -- > Universidad Distrital Francisco Jos de Caldas > http://www.udistrital.edu.co > Conmutador: (57-1) 3239300 > Bogot, D.C., Colombia > >
