Both G4 iMacs and G4 iBooks used either an Airport Express (802.11g) or Airport (802.11b) card, depending on the model. The last iBook G4s even used a combo Airport Express/bluetooth card that won't fit into any G4 iMac. iBook G3s used only the original Airport card. So you need to give us more information. Once you determine your specific models, Google "iBook G4 take-apart) and "iMac G4 take-apart" for visual guides. But you normally can access the G3/G4 iBook Airport cards by lifting the keyboard. The iMac G4 Airport cards are under the bottom cover which is removed by loosening the four captive Phillips head screws.
