As in driving in the car with the laptop running? I have had the laptop on plenty of times while riding as a passenger. I would be concerned about having it sitting on the street while running. First it might fall off. Second, I don't like the possibility of vibrations hurting the harddisk. In my lap it's got a lot more cushioning. I will pull it out of the carrying bag and check the map when I've pulled over. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
