Congrats on the lesson learned, and the fact that the iBook did not
suffer any damage.

That appears to be one of the most common accidents where computers
are concerned. Keeping a laptop on a stand --any kind of stand, don't
have to be fancy; you can even prop it on two piles of books, the one
in the rear a book higher-- helps avoid spills, as well as setting
your beverages on a lower level (floor, lower table). Plus, the stand
has the added benefit of keeping your 'Book cool.

I have two cats, and they have spilled my drinks so many times, I've
had to learn to be careful.
