I have the same problem with a Wallstreet - new hard drive with OSX not found - but Old hard drive found every time I replace the new with the old. I'm hoping it is the PRAM which I'll replace next week.

I tried 3 diffrenrt HD and all do the same and when I try to reinstall from discs it goes to install but all it shows is the DVD drive and the disc and no HD appears in which to place the OSX! > Helppppp > Jeff --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
