Don't believe the blab. A lot of software which is supposed to require built-in ports actually runs without problem. This includes entire operating systems (OS-X post Panther). I have many USB peripherals on Wallstreet via PC card adapter. Under OS9 and earlier, you will only get USB-1 connection speeds. As you already have the flash drive, the best test is simply plug it in. Betcha it works! hth..
