Hi

I've had a number of Pismos where the hard drive doesn't show up even though
the drive is known to be working.

On the odd occasion it is the hard drive cable, but most of the time the logic
board is at fault.

Helo,
I bought a Pismo listed as of 'unknown condition'. The external case
looks fine and I was able to charge the battery on another Pismo. I
replaced the hard drive with a known working one, the ram with known
working ram and the processor with a working processor. No chime, no
sound, no boot.
Then I unplugged AC and took out battery and DVD, unplugged the pram
battery and pushed the reset button at the back. it then chimed and
booted to a blue screen, but shows no hard drive.
What suggestions would you have about further checks needed, or parts
to replace?
