The PRAM battery is on a subassembly behind the left of center area  
up near the screen hinge.

The 3400 and 3500 cases are actually the old 190/5300 cases extended  
somewhat, and for that reason the PRAM battery actually has an  
extension cable attached to it.

The battery is proprietary, but it is one of the easier PRAM  
batteries to obtain on eBay because of the 190/5300/3400/3500 parts  
compatibility and similarity.
