I assume you mean moving around wirelessly.

It sounds like indeed the aluminum could be causing barrier
interference in this case.

But to be honest, Bluetooth is too lame a technology to use for
quality sound transmission, either for listening or using a
microphone. I have never ever heard of such devices working
adequately. Everyone complains about them. They work just great for
phone calls, where the sound can be drastically compressed and fit
within the lame bandwidth of Bluetooth. But for quality sound, forget
it. Sorry.

There are alternative technology wireless headphones that around. May
I suggest the Sennheiser RS120 926 MHz Wireless RF Headphones with
Charging Cradle, $70 (which is actually a good deal) at Amazon:

They have an excellent dynamic range and can pick up the source
signal up to 120 feet away, through walls. The only complaint I am
reading is that they can pick up electro-magnetic interference on the
same wavelength. Whether you will have this problem or not depends
upon the environment in which you use them.

There are other alternatives as well. Hope that helps.

Fun time! My full blown flame against Bluetooth:

BlueTooth is VERY LAME. I have considered the technology shameful
since day 1. It has been outrageously hyped and consistently under-
performs. It desperately needs an upgrade to allow more power and a
much wider bandwidth. It's pairing technology needs a brain
transplant as well. It often fails. The entire technology is typical
of anything designed by committee. Some of its technology is terrific
but is hindered by the rest of it which is a mess.

You have my kind permission to flame me back.

Share and Enjoy,

:-Derek
