HelloI would like to confirm that people think I need to buy a new motherboard. Pismo Symptom: hard drive starts up to a blue screen. I have tried another hard drive and cable. When trying a known good, partitioned drive from another Pismo, I started it by holding down the Option Key and could see the choice icons for starting in OS9 or OSX, but not the hard disk icons to chooseand click. The Pismo will not show a CD if started from CD- just the blue screen. At first the pram battery had to be removed to start up, but now after charging, the Pismo will start with the pram battery plugged in. However, it still starts up to a blue screen. Before I search for parts, does this sound like the logicboard needs replacement?
