I should clarify, and this is also the area where you also got confused.

Leopard will not install on any G3 iBook. G4 iBooks are a different  
story, and it *will* install on those depending on the CPU speed. Any  
iBook G4 under 867 Mhz will require a bit of coaxing to install.
