Hello all, I have a G3 500 Dual USB iBook which had a dead CD-R. I had a slot load CD-R Matsushita Drive (CD-8121?) that I wanted to install, but it is set as a Master drive, which messes with the 1 ATA bus on the G3 iBook. I have searched the interwebs and not found a way to get this setup to work. Has anyone here done this swap with the stock HD and can offer assistance changing the Master/Slave setting on the CD-R? I have un-jumpered the HD and this did not work.
