Indeed it is. Had been using Google Reader for a while, but I couldn't stand the slowness of the web app on my Pismo :/. So I switched to NNW, and it works really well! It syncs between my main Mac (the iMac) and my Pismo, so it works just like Reader. And you can also use their web interface, which isn't bad at all!
