Details please - OS etc. Do you have StuffIt AVR installed? If so, rip it out - it's known to interfere with Finder. Have you installed any other Finder type enhancements? The Pismo is a G3 running OSX 10.4.11, 500 mhz, 768 ram, 120 gb hard drive. I do have Stuffit Expander 12.0.1 installed but don't know what Stuffit AVR is or where it might be located. I don't know what Finder type enhancements means but don't install any trial versions of anything and only use the regular programs. > == 3 of 4 == > Date: Sun, Feb 8 2009 2:44 pm > From: Paul > Another possibility is having icons that have some empty space in them. I am double clicking on the traditional icon for a hard drive- it just doesn't seem to recognise the click. > == 4 of 4 == > Date: Sun, Feb 8 2009 9:08 pm > From: "P. I only have the two icons for the partitioned hard drive on the Desktop- the hard drive icon for the OSX partition and the hard drive icon for the OS9 partition. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
