I've got a G3 Lombard that won't completely power up. I suspect the switch. When I plug in the wall adapter the CPU light flashes -- without ever touching the switch. Then, all goes dead. I know the adapter is good (I use it with my Pismo.) I have replaced the Audio/ AC card only to see the same behavior. Am I on the right track or should I be looking elsewhere?
Here's the specs: PowerBook G3 Lombard (1999) 333 Mhz 192 RAM 6 Gig HD Also, when unplug the batteries and adapter and reset the power manager I observe the same thing. CPU light flashes a couple of times BEFORE power button is pressed. Nothing happens when power button is pressed. Any help would be much appreciated.
