Stewie, I wish I had a firewire enclosure primarily because it's faster (although I did wonder if the usb enclosure is part of the problem, I was less concerned once I was able to install and boot in OS 9.2). The primary reason that I did not install the 80 GB drive in the Pismo before partitioning and installing is because one of the screws holding the current hard drive in is stripped and nothing I have tried has been able to release it (I even bought another screwdriver kit to no avail). If anyone has any viable suggestions for removing a stripped screw or for where I can find a CHEAP firewire enclosure I would appreciate it. TIA.
