I have heard that the Pismo has to get really, really hot for the fan to turn on at all. Mine has never come on in my normal usage, with OS X 10.4.11, 768MB RAM and 40GB HDD. It would be nice to have a software method to test the fan (or control it), but there doesn't seem to be anything out there for this model. - Don --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
