There are quite a lot of iBooks (700 - 800 MHz ) that have video errors, just as info.
You can try to open it and remove the working parts, and use these for other computers, or sell them on eBay. There is also a gay from holland that putted an entire iBook into a macally 3'5 HD case, I couldn't find that on my iPhone, so you should google for that yourself.
