In my case, it's for the AL G4, but I suspect it's pretty much the same. (anyone have one to sell, BTW?) The unit comes with a wide variety of adapter plugs so you should be able to get one to fit your computer. I even picked up a "Y" adapter and can both run the computer and charge my cellphone at the same time. > and went ahead and ordered a Newertech PS >> from Other World Computing --am using it now. Cords on both were of what I would consider "regular" thickness--not too cumbersome at all. My only complaint about the Kesington cord is that the wall-to-adapter cord is only about 5" long so the adapter would hang from the wall. I clipped the wall plug off and soldered on a 6' cord to make it easier to place. (and no, no overheating, no problems, been using it for years this way. :)) > $35 + s/h and got to me overnite (well, I do >> live in the same metro area as OWC. :) ) Decent price, 3 year >> warranty, > > ** Yep. All were pluses for me - I needed that >> adapter NOW and got it. :) I've been looking at some of the adapters on ebay today--some are tempting, but who knows what kind of quality. Do I need a backup on a 6 year-old machine? :) Howard -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
