I bought a 500mhz G3 iBook from eBay last week and I've been wanting to upgrade from Jaguar (was on the iBook when I got it) to Tiger. I got the install discs, but everything I've tried fails to get the darn thing to boot from the CD. I've tried resetting the pram and nvram, tried holding down the 'c' button, tried holding down the option and mouse keys at the same time and I just can't get it to work. The cdrom drive does appear to work properly, as I can read files off the discs just fine, but it's the non-boot-from-cd problem that has me frustrated! There's got to me some way to get this to work! Help!!!
