Advice appreciated.
I touched the AC connection area of the Pismo with the connected
adapter from an ibook G3. The Pismo no longer turns on. Did I damage
the AC/sound card? The logicboard? What should I test or replace?
Thanks for suggestions
There is no AC connection area, the power input is DC.
You "touched" it??? can you be more specific.
It's a power/sound card. You could have damaged it or the logic board.
First step, pull the battery and the power adapter, wait a minute then
put the battery back in, reconnect the power adapter then try turning it
on. Keep trying for a few minutes if needed.
