I have 3 yo-yo adapters, all with the same model number and all fit

AFAIk all the Yoyos were 45 watts.

And all Apple laptop power adapters with that style plug, of either size, had a minimum rating of 45 watts WITH the exception of some or all Duo adapters which were 36 watts. These adapters were gray, took a standard IEC320 AC input (same as most desktops) and had a mounting rail and contacts for a battery charger.

Check the wattages of them...iirc, there was one model that was a
lower wattage than the other...that one could not both run the
computer and charge the battery. It'll charge the battery if the
system is asleep or off, though.
Hi Bruce,
How would one check the wattage if that spec is not on the adapter, as is
the case with both of my (Apple) adapters?

If it lists the DC output current and voltage then just multiply the two together to get wattage.
