I do have a (much older) Pismo powerbook and sometimes don't know
whether the power adapter provides power.
(problems with the plug).
My first simple test is:
- Press Caps Lock key
- if the key is illuminated then the power adapter is OK
- if not fiddling with the plug is the answer
- Next step (if necessary): read Bruce Johnson advice
(I'm not sure whether your G4 Powerbook has an illuminated Caps Lock
key !)
