Hi All...

Thanks to a funky strap on my briefcase/computer bag, my beloved Al
Powerbook took a tumble and landed on the only other hard object in the
case. It impacted on the corner by the DVI connector and dented the aluminum
pretty seriously. Fortunately it still works perfectly!!!!
The case is dented only on the vertical ³flat² part of the case... not on
the ³spherical² part of the corner. Pretty sure the aluminum can be returned
to nearly normal condition... =if= I could actually get to that area.

Would it be difficult to remove enough parts to get in and rework the metal
in that area? Another alternative would be locating another lower case and
just replacing the whole thing. Again, how difficult would that be? Then...
in y¹alls opinion which might be the best way to go?

Thanks for any advice!!!

Amanda
