Tiger came in separate PPC and Intel versions. Leopard is a single "universal" version only. I believe the Tiger Intel versions are actually "universal" versions also, but I'm not 100% certain on this? The reason I believe this is because there were some problems with using certain non-Apple wireless cards in PPC Macs, and I tried some of the Intel-only wireless kexts in my PPC Mac and they worked fine, and were newer than the currently available PPC versions.
