OWC are good dependable vendors, who do their best to support product
they sell.
Cannot say the same about the NewerTech NuPower batteries for Wallstreet.

At end 2006 I bought simultaneously 1 x NuPower battery from OWC, and
1 x "2-Power" brand (cheap import from Asia) from a local battery
specialist here in Australia.

The NuPower Battery was DOA.  I sent it back and received a
replacement. That was also DOA. The 3rd battery they sent me was
rated 4625 mAh, and lasted only a year until it too died.

By comparison, the "2-Power" battery was 2/3 the price and performed
faultlessly.  It is rated at 4800 mAh, and still gives over 3 hours
of use.

When I ordered another one of these to replace the finally deceased
NuPower above, it was even better than the previous, showing a 5400
mAh capacity in System Profiler.

Do you have a link to a site that sells the "2-Power" wally battery?
