The keyboard does not have a plain MIDI port—USB only (figures…).

  Turns out, the code was originally G5 and Intel only, then was made
G4-ready. It's based on Apple's SampleUSBMIDIDriver. If only I could
contact the developer, maybe he could compile it for G3's.
