Not necessary delete the whole thing... But ALWAYS trim the quoted text. The point is that the reply you're posting needs have enough context to make your contribution make sense. The excess should *always* be trimmed away.


[*] Old argument, rehashed many times on these LEM lists... 1-to-1 conversion is ok top-posted. 1-to-many tech support is better bottom posted. Consider your audience. If you want the more technical minded list members to respond to your posts, then bottom post. The techie types just don't have the time to muddle thru convoluted, upside down, top-posted threads. When they see such, more often than not, they just move on to the next thread.
