I haven't tried the Netgear, so can't really tell you. I got the APE yesterday, though, and set it up. It's working great. OK, let me rephrase that. It is working GREAT! Setup was a breeze, even sharing a USB HDD. (I copied a movie to it to test it, and it plays great at G speed in my Big Al.) I didn't do all my homework, and discovered kinda too late that it doesn't support WEP encryption, which left out of the loop a couple of 'Books with original Airport cards and anything running OS 9. The solution --an unsecured guest network. Oh, well. The whole network feels Star Trek fast...
