Hi Tortise, no problem i took some pictures.

To start, I have found pertaining information, that if you use an
Apple Yo-Yo
NOT made in China, that's an essential place to start for keeping your
power
from spiking, which causes issues in the sound card, and the battery/
component charger/clicker.
Bad adapters are probably the biggest problem with Pismos. Those cheap
ones, you know?
Again, I have also read documented reports of the China Yo-yo's
causing major problems also.
Mine is made in Taiwan.

The point of gluing around the male power point, is twofold.
First is to add stability to it's component fix point, which is
slightly shoddy.
Why apple went with this style, is beyond me. This has to be the
weakest
point of the pismo.
The second point to glue where indicated in picture, is to add some
shielding
to frequencies crossing over to other components from the modulating
power input.
IT DOES HELP!
Rememer, just glue around the plastic part of the Power input, don't
put it on
your male metal plug, as you simply will have lack of contact and
hence, no power.

OH YEAH. DON'T HAVE THE SUCKER PLUGGED IN WHEN YOU GLUE!!!!
This would be fatal for you, the pismo, or both.
The glue does conduct when hot, but once cooled, does it's job to
insulate, not conduct.
Don't worry, the pismo's components you are gluing will never get hot
enough to make it viscous
and then conductive.

Make sure this is just the basic Hot glue gun (hobby shop type thing,
clear glue that fixes in minutes)
It's basically just plastic that heats up, but doesn't stink up the
place.
Hot glue should be just as important as a Solder iron in your
workshop. It's great for quick jobs and demos.

Hope that gives you an idea.
