On warmer weather days, sometimes when I'm ripping audio book CDs, the fan will
come on whereon I put it to sleep for a while.

What might I be considering in the way of peripheral cooling devices? Of course
I was given one and not having the issue at the time [not then ripping] gave it
away like a dummy — a platform with a fan in it. Forget the brand now.
