Last month I posted about an iBook G4 (late 2004) which won't power up. As I stated then, nothing happens when the power button is pressed. It seemed likely that there was a problem with the DC-in board (thanks, Alex, for confirming that this is a known problem with these iBooks), so I swapped it for a known working board. Unfortunately, this hasn't helped. I've tried to reset the power manager, zap the PRAM, etc., etc. - all the usual gambits to get a dead 'Book back from the dead - but there's no response at all.
The next most likely cause of this problem would seem to be the power button. It feels all right mechanically and seems to be connecting to the logic board properly, but I'm not sure where else to look. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
