I have Snapscan and it works, good no paper jams and fast. That was before the new Canon AIO printers came out. My MX860 can scan both sides using page feeder and save to the computer or to a USB flash drive or SD card without the computer connected. The newer MX870 is supposedly even better and all for under $150 you get a good printer/copier at the same time. The Snapscan is slightly faster if you need to do heavy volumes or something portable. I'd recommend the Canon MX870 as a better choice these days.
