If you have access to Tiger, you might consider upgrading to Tiger 10.4.11 which will support newer versions of iTunes. If your 366 doesn't have Firewire, the upgrade is slightly more difficult because the Tiger install CD or DVD has an "artificial" limitation that checks and will prohibit the installation even though there is no reason other than "planned obsolescence" on the part of Apple.

In the mean time, you can probably get your current iTunes working by simply opening iTunes, then navigate to your ~/Music/iTunes folder and drag the entire music folder back into the open iTunes window onto the Library>Music icon. This will reimport all your music and rebuild your iTunes database, and hopefully everything will be fine. (Note: this method won't work if you've changed your iTunes preferences to leave your music wherever it already was located on your HD rather than using the default setting of "Keep my music organized".)

If you decide to upgrade to Tiger and need assistance because of the limitation, I can help off-list. There are MANY ways to circumvent the installer limitation, some relatively easier than others, depending upon what resources you have available. I don't think Tiger supports that latest iTunes 10, but you can get to iTunes 9.2.1 which is a long ways away from iTunes 4.

On that subject, Software Update should offer you a much newer version of iTunes than version 4 for Panther 10.3.9. I believe the last version supported in Panther was iTunes 7.0.2. You might run Software Update, or look for a download of iTunes 7.0.2.
