Hi Matt
I'm in the UK so the following may not be relevant to you:
http://www.offtek.co.uk/ssd25.php?subcat=99&source=Google_SSD&gclid=CNTEs8yT1qoCFYgf4QodXAgj8Q
http://www.kingspec.com/solid-state-disk-products/series-ssd25.htm
I think Samsung used to produce PATA SSDs but I can't see them on the
Samsung website. Ebay may be your friend here - the UK listing show
lots of 1·8-inch PATA SSDs and the occasional 2·5-inch PATA SSD.
Hope this helps

Hello Bruce:
Do you have sample links or product names for PATA SSD options for
the Pismo? I would love to do that to mine!

Hi Simon
My G-book, a Pismo 400MHz, is inactive at the moment. When I can
afford a PATA SSD, and hence Pismo has no moving parts and almost
zero
power usage, Pismo will return to being my webserver because I'll be
more confident that he can be left on all day, every day, whether I'm
home or not. And when he's back in the game, I'm sure I'll have lots
to ask and/or rabbit on about.
(At the moment, I use a 2002 Quicksilver as a webserver and he gets
switched off if the flat is unoccupied for more than a few minutes
because I don't quite trust it not to some day burst into flames.)
And as you know, when Bagpuss goes to sleep, all his friends go to
sleep!
cheers
Bruce
