Thanks for the answers; I won't dwell on it further, except to say that Idid immediatelystop the synching when I got back home and began adding and erasing Bookmarks, iTunes, etc. and wiping all the old passwords and other private info. I should havewiped the whole system and re-installed but I am just plain lazy. (and this laptophas Photoshop on it). Still, it can't "sync" if it's 2000 miles away, can it? I assumed all devices need to be sharing the same wireless network, in the same house. Or is this done remotely, over the Internet?Apple's description of this feature is pretty brief. I'm pretty sure everything's fine, anyway. I'll just email them and ask. thanks.sr
